James Wesley Frazier Jr, 47, of Plainview passed away on February 14, 2010 in Plainview. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Burial will be Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Euchee Valley Memorial Park in Cushing, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. James Wesley Frazier, Jr. was born July 17, 1962 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to James Wesley Frazier and Sallie Anderson. He attended public schools in Clinton and Enid and graduated High School from Stilwell, Oklahoma in 1980. He attended Northeastern State University at Tahlequah. He quickly became the unofficial social director of the NSU campus and was known state wide as “Kattdaddy.” James played four years of football for NSU and then served as dorm proctor at NEO in Miami, Oklahoma. He graduated from Northeastern State in 1986 and served football coaching stints at New Castle, Idabel, Salina and Anadarko in Oklahoma and Highland Park, Caprock, Hereford and Plainview in Texas. James married Tammy Kaye Stone November 3, 2001 and to that marriage was born a daughter Ellie Faye. James Wesley Frazier, Jr. succumbed to Squamous Cell Carcinoma February 14, 2010 in Plainview, Texas. James loved coaching, community service, his family, his friends, NASCAR, his First Baptist Church community, his students and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife Tammy, daughters Ellie Faye, Lindy Pasley and Sommer Wilder, a son Landon Pasley of the home; his parents Jim and Sallie of Cushing, Oklahoma, one brother Phillip Frazier and wife Chasity, one sister Robin and husband Rick Allford all of Amarillo, Texas, two grandmothers, Gunter Anderson and Faye Frazier both of Cushing, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.
