Pearl Jackson (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Pearl “Peary” Jackson, 96, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2005 in the 6th & Gaines Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. Mrs. Jackson was born March 27, 1908 in Abilene, Texas. She moved to Tulia at the age of 3 with her family in a covered wagon. She grew up in Tulia and attended Tulia schools. She married Bert Jackson on August 2, 1924. He died in 1976. She was a homemaker and a member of 6th & Gaines Church of Christ. Survivors include: Her Daughter: Betty Nall of Tulia, TX; 4 Grandchildren and spouses: Danny and Shirley McCaslin of Tulia, TX, Donna and Danny Robertson of Midland, TX, Diana McCaslin of Odessa, TX, Betty Ann Jackson of Tulia, TX; 11 Great Grandchildren, 24 Great, Great Grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by: Her son: Milton Jackson, 2 Brothers: Jack Friar and George Friar,1 Sister: Katherine Poston.
