Blas Martinez (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Blas Martinez, 62 died at 8:45 pm Sunday, February 20, 2005 in San Angelo, Texas. A rosary service will be held at 9:45am Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in the Kornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Father Scott Raef, pastor of Church of the Holy Spirit, officiating, and a graveside service will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mr. Martinez was born July 22, 1942 in Robstown, Texas. He moved to Tulia in the late 1950’s. He graduated high school from Boys Ranch. He served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include: His mother: Ramona Gonzales of Canyon, Texas Two Sisters: Janie Derden of Amarillo, Texas Ramona Subealdea of Plainview, Texas Three Brothers: Ted Flores of Hereford, Texas Roy Flores of Tulia, Texas Simon Flores of Amarillo, Texas He is preceded in death by: His Father: Felix Gonzales Two Brothers: Oscar Gonzales and Joe Flores
