Leta McAnally (Plainview)

Leta McAnally, 74. passed away at 6:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. McAnally will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Plainview Family Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Doug Yates, pastor, officiating. Services are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. McAnally was born January 22, 1931 in Ardmore Oklahoma. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1948. She married Jack McAnally, January 22, 1949 in Kress. She worked at Furr’s supermarket for several years, and also worked at Dr. Hollingsworth as a dental assistant until she retired in 1993. She is survived by, her husband, Jack McAnally of Plainview; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Billy Massey of Brownwood; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Suzie McAnally of Lubbock; three sisters, Trulene Reed, Tommie Shannon, Jackie Harrell all of Plainview; one brother, Glen Noland of Keller; five grandchildren; Chad Massey, Zack Massey both of Brownwood, Shaunci McAnally, Shyenne McAnally, Britt McAnally all of Lubbock; five great grandchildren, Brandon Massey, Keelan Massey, Logan Massey, Corbin Massey all of Brownwood, Gage Walker McAnally of Lubbock.
