Gabriel Vargas (Plainview)

Gabriel Vargas, 25, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Arturo Meza officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be at 6 P.M., Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Vargas was born March 21, 1990 in Lockney, Texas to Lupe & Rosa Vargas. He graduated from Silverton High School and attended Wayland Baptist University. He is survived by his parents: Lupe & Rosa Vargas of Plainview; two brothers: Lupe Vargas, Jr. of Amarillo and Nicholas Vargas of Lubbock; grandparents: Manuel Vargas and Guadalupe Rodriguez and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
