Simon Lee Anthony Amaya, 24, of Olton passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 17, 2017 at College Heights Baptist Church with burial in the Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. A visitation will be held at Kornerstone Funeral Directors on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 5 to 7 P.M. Simon Amaya was born on November 1, 1992 in Lubbock, Texas to Ernest and Ramona (Marquez) Amaya. He is survived by his wife, Shayla Hardin of Plainview; two daughters, Ava Amaya and Aralynn Amaya; father, Ernest Amaya of Plainview, mother, Ramona Marquez Amaya of Lubbock; three sisters, Val Lopez of Plainview, Sonya Amaya of Tulia and Stephanie Amaya of Plainview; grandfather, Eduardo Amaya of Plainview and grandmother, Simona Huertas of Odessa.
