Alfredo Luera Garcia Jr. (Tulia)

Alfredo Luera Garcia Jr., 57, of Tulia, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 Monday, February 16, 2026 at the Church of the Holy Spirit with Deacon Jackie Gunnels officiating. 

Alfredo was born in Tulia, Texas, he was a beloved son of Alfredo T. Sr. and Ophelia Maria (Luera) Garcia.

Alfredo was a proud graduate of Tulia High School, Class of 1987. His career was marked by dedication and hard work; he began at Affiliated Foods in Amarillo before establishing his own trucking business, where he specialized in hauling cattle. He also had the opportunity to drive for Tommy Harris and Jesse Rodriguez, Jr. in Colorado, and contributed to the farming efforts of Steve Raymond. In addition to these pursuits, Alfredo shared his passion for landscaping through his own lawn care business.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Ophelia Garcia, Sr.; his brother, Randoph Garcia; his sisters, Delia Garcia and DeAnn Garcia.

He is survived by his children, De’Ann Garcia, Emely Lopez and Dakota Shane Garcia; his sister, Tina Maria Moreno and husband Sesar and two grandchildren.
