Anacleto O. Moralez (Plainview)

Anacleto O. “Cleto” Moralez, 77 passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Kornerstone Chapel in Plainview, Texas with Mark Heigi officiating. Interment will follow in the Petersburg Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview, Texas. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

Cleto was born on May 16, 1944 in Mathis, Texas to Tanis and Dora Moralez. Cleto and his family moved to Petersburg in the late 40’s. He married Maria Moralez in Muleshoe, Texas in 1974. They were married fourty- seven years. They were lifelong residents in Petersburg. He went on to farm for Porky Tennells for thirty-two years and they were members of Petersburg Church of Christ.

Cleto is preceded in death by his wife Maria Moralez; his parents Tanis and Dora Moralez; and two brothers Tanis Jr. Moralez and Mike Moralez. He is survived by his three sisters; Lupe Lejman, Mary Livar and Linda Gonzales.
