Baldemar "Balde" Subealdea (Tulia)

Baldemar “Balde” Subealdea, 59, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Deacon Jackie Gunnels officiating.

A rosary will be held at 6:30 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 18, 2025 in the Kornerstone Chapel.

Baldemar was born on March 29, 1966, in Harlingen, Texas, to Eleazar and Consuelo (Sifuentes). He graduated from Tulia High School and went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Air Force.

On May 30, 2023, Baldemar joyfully married Lily Ramirez in Odessa. He cherished life, enjoying activities such as dancing, barbecuing, and traveling throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleazar and Consuelo Subealdea; his brothers, Eddie Subealdea and Eloy Subealdea.

He is survived by his wife, Lily Subealdea; his daughter, Jacqueline Subealdea Mata; his son, Nathan Subealdea; his stepdaughter, Isabella Cruz; his brothers, Jaime Subealdea, Eleazar Subealdea, Jr., and Frank Subealdea; his sister, Norma Cruz and Maria Gomez; his grandchildren, Naomi, Isaac, Daniel, Jr., Caleb, Lucas Mata, Ethan Kamden, Koryn Subealdea.
