Billy Jack Nava, 58, of Silverton passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 3400 W. 4th St. Plainview, Texas 79072. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Billy was born on July 6, 1967, in Odessa, Texas. He was the beloved son of Elisandro Nava and Guadalupe Madrid. Billy was raised in Plainview, Texas, where he built many cherished memories.

In 2003, Billy married Sydney Lee Marriott in Plainview, and together they shared a life filled with love and adventure. The couple moved to California in 2016 before returning to Silverton, Texas, in 2026. Billy had a deep passion for traveling across the country with Sydney, always caring deeply for her.

He was a devoted family man who treasured spending time with his sons, nephews, and nieces, especially enjoying fishing trips at Lake McKenzie. Billy also loved family gatherings and barbecues, where his lively spirit and talkative nature brought joy to those around him. He was known for his enthusiasm for life and his many creative projects.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elisandro and Guadalupe Nava and his brother, Alberto Nava.

He is survived by his wife, Sydney Nava; his sons, Michael Marriott and wife Jessica and Tyler Marriott; his brother, Alex Nava; his sisters, Norma Garcia, Laura Gonzales and husband Johnny and Irma Ledezma and husband Jessie; his grandchild, Vaeda Marriott and many nieces and nephews.
