Brenda Lea Graham (Plainview)

Brenda Lea Graham, 78, of Plainview, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2026.

Brenda was born on May 22, 1948, in Amarillo, Texas, to D.T. “Buddy” Graham and Bettie "Jane" Graham. She made her home in Plainview, where she built a life centered around family, friendship, and caring for others.

Brenda enjoyed a career as an insurance adjuster before retiring in 2004. For several years, she also served on the entertainment committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo—an experience she greatly enjoyed and one that became a memorable part of her life.

Brenda had a heart for helping others and was especially known for looking after people in her community. Her caring nature was perhaps most evident in the devoted care she provided for her father, Buddy, during his final years living with dementia. With Brenda’s support, he was able to remain at home with his wife, Jane. Whether someone needed a helping hand, a little extra care, or simply someone to be there, Brenda was someone others could count on.

She is survived by her only son, Ryan Redman, and his wife, Laura; her sisters, Susan Simpson and her husband, Rick, of Plano, Texas, and Beverly Humes and her husband, Gary, of Port Aransas, Texas; her aunt, Jean Adams, of Plainview; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, D.T. “Buddy” Graham and Bettie “Jane” Graham, and her sister, Janice Ann Graham.

Brenda will be dearly missed by her son, Ryan, her extended family, her friends, and all who knew and loved her. They find comfort in knowing that after a life guided by her deep and abiding Christian faith, she is now at home in heaven.
