Carolina "Nina" Galvan (Plainview)

Carolina "Nina" Galvan, 67 of Plainview passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Harvest Christian Fellowship with Josh Burgett officiating. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M, Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park.

Carolina was a devoted wife to Jose “Hito” Galvan, whom she married on April 28, 1974. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to their family and community. She owned Nina's Flowers & Gifts for over 20 years. Nina’s spirit of generosity was evident in her many contributions, where she volunteered for Toys for Tots, Dress a live doll, participated as an election worker, and was actively involved in fundraising projects for Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. In her spare time, Carolina found joy in sewing, reading and creating cherished memories with her grandchildren. She also loved traveling with her beloved dog, Chanel.

 She is survived by three sons, Jason Galvan, Joe Ray Galvan and Ignacio Aguirre; three sisters, Sylvia Villalpando, Corina Villalpando and Gloria Guajardo; eleven grandchildren, Jaylynn Galvan, Lauren Aguirre, Jayven Galvan, Bobby Aguirre, Jayla Gaz, Janessa Galvan, Jayden Galvan, Jordan Aguirre, Vanessa Hernandez, Aaron Hernandez and Luis Hernandez Jr; two nieces, Veronica Hernandez and Priscilla Estrada; one nephew, Jacob Estrada.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Raymundo Villalpando; her mother, Refugia “ Cuca” Villalpando; and her husband Jose “Hito” Galvan.
