Chester Baggett (Tulia)

Chester Lee Baggett, 88, of Tulia, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Tulia. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Mr. Stacy McCasland officiating. 

Chester was born on April 20, 1935, in Gunsight, Texas to Clarence and Grace (Dement) Baggett. He moved to Olton, Texas in 1950 and later enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1959. He married Eva Wood on March 4, 1960, in Plainview, Texas. They moved to Tulia in 1964 and Chester was a retired farmer. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Grace Baggett; his two sons, Clint Wesley Baggett and Cole Dement Baggett.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Patsy Baggett; his grandchildren, Miranda Baggett, Brett Baggett, Colton Baggett and Levi Baggett; his step-granddaughter, Sissy Nickel.
