Chezla Driver (Plainview)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chezla Lee Driver age 47, who left this world peacefully on July 31, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, niece, friend and mother whose warmth, compassion and strength touched all who knew her.

Known for her kind spirit, generous heart, and quiet resilience, Chezla brought light into every room she entered. Her laughter, wisdom and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

A life gone too soon, yet one that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though our hearts grieve her absence. We rejoice in the promise of eternal life and take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Shakir and her grandparents, Bobby and Willie Helen Driver.

Chezla is survived by her father, Andre Moss (Fort Worth) two children, Amazjhane Driver (Floydada) Ticen Driver (Floydada), her significant other,  Pete Cooper (Floydada), her sister Misty Moss (Lubbock), her aunt Mary Acy (Lubbock), her niece Gloria Moss (San Antonio). two nephews, Romelo Moss (San Antonio) Keyshawn Roberts (Austin).

A host of cousins, friends, and a special friend Judge Tali Jackson.
