Mr. Jackson went home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2026, in Waxahachie, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
He was born April 6, 1974, in Tulia, Texas, to Roy Gene Jackson and Sharon Kay Jackson. He attended and graduated school at Kress, Texas; attended one year at Levelland College and one year at WTA&M University.
Survivors included his mother, Sharon Kay Jackson of Plainview, two brothers, Robbie Lynn Jackson of Plainview, Landon Henderson Jackson of Plainview, his son, Christopher Austin Jackson, of Frisco, Texas, two daughters, Teyah LeAnn Jackson and Raven Sanaa Jackson, and their mother, Misty Bates, of Waxahachie, Texas, two grandchildren, Broderick Jashaan Grayer and LeAndra Reann Grayer, of Waxahachie, Texas; step-children, Tristan Beaty and Mackenzie Beaty; and their mom, Jessica Beaty, and a whole host of family, and friends.
Chris was a truck driver, one of his various endeavors. If you knew him, and he wasn't on the truck, he was farming, both of which brought him much joy. Most of all, he loved the roll of being a "Pawpaw" to his grandchildren. He was a Mamma's boy and his mother will be lost without him.
Chris always did things his own way and defied many odds which were against him; and he put on his bravest smile amidst his battles. He was quite the jokester and always kept us full of laughter.
Chris was proceeded in death by his father, Roy Jackson, sister, LeAndra Kay Jackson, niece Samara Korynne Jackson, grandparents, JoNell Brannon, Donald McKelvy, Roosevelt and Marie Jackson, and his Aunt Minnie Snead.
He left this life to an even greater life, that being with his Lord and Savior.
