Chrystine was a member of Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hale Center where she was a longtime third grade teacher. She also served as a 4-H leader for the Hale Center Club. She was a lifelong resident of the Mayfield and Hale Center communities, until 2020 when to she moved into assisted living in Plainview.
