Cody Joe Grant (Tulia)

Cody Joe Grant 61 of Tulia, TX passed away on January 22, 2024. Cody was born in Amarillo, TX on February 3, 1962 to Jerrel and Barty Grant. Cody worked for his dad’s glass company after he graduated from Cy Fair High School in Houston, TX. He married Jean Piccolo in 1984 and went to work for Becon Construction and traveled from job to job. They had two children, Jessica Christine Grant born in 1991 in Kingsport, TN and Joseph Cody Grant born in 1993 in Salisbury, NC. Cody was a big guy with the biggest heart. He was happy, positive, full of life and up for any adventure. He was a huge football fan. He enjoyed working out, hunting and playing cards. He was a master scuba diver. He loved being with family the most. Cody was most proud of his children, Jessica and Joey and his first grandchild Theodora. They were the loves of his life. Cody is preceded in death by his father Jerrel and his mother Barty. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Christine Grant of Wilmington, NC, his son Joseph Cody Grant of Leland, NC , his first grandchild Theodora Lillian Grant of Leland, NC, and his brother Cory Grant of TX. Cody will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him.
