Constantino Cedillo Varela, 91, of Plainview passed away Saturday, July 4th, 2026. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Benedict Crasta officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 8th, 2026 from 6:00P.M. - 8:00P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.
Constantino will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and proud great-grandfather. He dedicated his life to providing for his family through hard work, determination, and unwavering responsibility. His family was always his greatest priority, and he led by example with strength, integrity, and compassion.
He had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. As a grandfather and great-grandfather, Constantino found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He treasured every moment shared with them and created countless memories that will be cherished for generations. His love, guidance, and quiet strength will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Cedillo and Victorina Varela; his beloved wife, Maria Cedillo; his brother, Juan Cedillo; his sister, Santiaga Cedillo; and his grandson, Cristian Cedillo.
He is survived by his children, Jorge Cedillo and wife Maria; Sergio Cedillo and wife Irma Veronica; Jose Abel Cedillo and wife Kimberth; Manuel Cedillo and wife Guadalupe; Isaac Cedillo and Aracely; and Sandra Renteria and husband Mario. He is also survived by his siblings, Concha, Elena, Angela, Carmen, Martin, Rufino, and Pepe Cedillo; his grandchildren, Jorge, Karen, Brayan, Tamara, Kamilan, Sergio Isai, Erika, Danny, Andy, Diego, Juan Pablo, Evelyn, Delaney, Makeily, Ismael, Karla, Juan, and Gael; his great-grandchildren, Sophia, Joselyn, Gabriela, Adriana, Angel, Mateo, and one great-grandchild on the way.
Constantino Cedillo Varela, de 91 años y residente de Plainview, falleció el sábado 4 de julio de 2026. Se celebrará una misa de funeral el jueves 9 de julio de 2026 a las 10:00 a. m. en la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church), oficiada por el padre Benedict Crasta. El entierro tendrá lugar en el cementerio de Plainview, en Plainview, Texas.
El miércoles 8 de julio de 2026, de 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., se rezará el rosario en la capilla de Kornerstone Funeral Directors.
Constantino será recordado como un esposo devoto, un padre amoroso, un abuelo entrañable y un orgulloso bisabuelo. Dedicó su vida a mantener a su familia mediante el trabajo arduo, la determinación y una responsabilidad inquebrantable. Su familia fue siempre su mayor prioridad, y guio con el ejemplo, demostrando fortaleza, integridad y compasión.
Poseía un corazón generoso y siempre estaba dispuesto a tender la mano a quien lo necesitara. Como abuelo y bisabuelo, Constantino encontraba una inmensa alegría al pasar tiempo con sus nietos y bisnietos. Valoraba cada momento compartido con ellos y creó innumerables recuerdos que perdurarán por generaciones. Su amor, su guía y su fortaleza serena seguirán vivos en los corazones de aquellos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerlo.
