Daniel "Danny B." Barrera (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Daniel “Danny B.” Barrera, 54, of Tulia passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 11:00 to 5:00 PM at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Daniel was born on October 13, 1966 in Tulia, Texas to Alfredo and Cecilia (Cruz) Barrera. He was known as Danny B. with a humble, simple, and funny personality. He was an avid fan of The New York Giants football team. He was a hard-working person and worked as a farmhand all his life. Drinking a cold beer and being with his family was one of his favorite pastimes.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Cecilia Barrera.

He is survived by his children; Dolores Amanda Barrera, Megan Isabel Barrera both of Amarillo,  and Joseph Barrera of San Marcos, his father; Alfredo Barrera of Tulia, two sisters; Irma Rocha of Ft. Worth and Ermelinda Guzman and husband Sabino II of Tulia, one grandson; Azias Reyes of Amarillo.
