Debra "Debbie"
Riddle (Plainview)
October 22, 1952 – April 23, 2026
Debra (Debbie) Riddle, 73, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, April 27, 2026 at Kornerstone Funeral Home with Jonathan Wright officiating. Burial will be at 9:30 A.M. Monday, April 27, 2026 in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
Debbie was born October 22, 1952 in Plainview, Texas to Floyd and June Terrell. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1971 and married Ricky Riddle on August 18, 1973 in Plainview. It was city boy meets country girl. Debbie grew up showing steers and competed in stock shows all over Texas. She loved riding her horse and spending time on the farm. In addition to raising two “wonderful” children, she worked outside the home as a radiology technician. She enjoyed her job and found great friendships with the people she worked with. In 1987 she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Despite the daily challenges associated with the debilitating disease, Debbie fought to live a normal life. She was the quintessential mother and grandmotherpouring every bit of energy and focus into the ones she loved most. Conversations would include wisdom, counsel, and listening and you always came away knowing she valued your relationship with her. In her latter years, she most enjoyed time with people and talking about her grandkids. She also loved the beauty of her plants and flowers that brightened her room.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Riddle, parents, Floyd and June Terrell and a brother, Terry Terrell.
She is survived by two sons, Ryan Riddle and wife Jennifer of Plainview, TX, Trent Riddle and wife Meredith of Ransom Canyon, brother, Patt Terrell and wife Darlene of Plainview and six grandchildren, Cailyn, Reagan, Brennon, Lincoln, Hogan and Sutton. The family suggests memorials to Reclaimed 43, P.O. Box 532, Abernathy, Texas 79311-0532.
