Tulia, Texas- Dianne “Sperry” Bailey, 75, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2022.  Services will be held at a later time. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Dianne was born on December 11, 1946 in Plainview, Texas to Marvin and Margrete (Sumner) Reynolds. She attended Silverton High School and was an All-State Basketball Player. Being a single mother the most that mattered to her in life was her loving son Chris. She would work four to five jobs to make ends meet and always attended any school activities Chris was in. If she was upset with Chris, she would call him “Boji” or “Christopher Lynn Sperry Lynn.” Dianne met and later married James Bailey on July 7, 1982 and have been together for 41 years. She will be remembered as she would say “love you big of bunches.”

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Margrete Reynolds, her husband, James Bailey, her brothers, Bill Reynolds and Jerry Reynolds, her sisters, Jonette Hamilton, and Jimmie Nell Kemp.

She is survived by her son, Chris Sperry and wife Kym of Tulia, her grandchildren, Beau Sperry and wife Payden of Oklahoma City, Kassidy Camarillo and husband Kalin of Amarillo, Kale Ferguson and wife Amanda of Fort Belvoir in Fairfax, Virginia, and Kahlie Callison and husband Steven of Lubbock; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way.
