Domingo Adame (Plainview)

Domingo Adame,86, of Plainview passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview.

Domingo was born on April 14, 1940 to Catarino and Leonor Adame. He married Josephine Salinas in Lubbock, TX in February of 1980.

A dedicated truck driver for over 20 years, Domingo was known for his work ethic. He often found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it be dancing, fishing, or camping. A true family man at heart, Domingo delighted in spending time with his loved ones, sharing jokes, and playing bingo. He had a special bond with animals and could often be seen enjoying quiet strolls with Josephine. Domingo had a fondness for western shows, and his laughter will always be remembered.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Domingo Adame, Mando Adame, Juan Adame and Catarino Adame; two sisters, Mercedes Adame and Estephania (Fina) Adame.

Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his wife, Josephine Adame; six sons, Victor Adame and wife Denise of Lubbock, Richard Adame and wife Maria of Plainview, Domingo Jr. Adame and wife Andra of Waco, Steve Adame of Plainview, Dimas Adame of Del Rio, and Adam Adame of Slator; two sisters Francisca and Maria; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
