Elisa Medina (Plainview)

Elisa Medina 86, passed away on Friday October 24, 2025.

A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27th, and Tuesday, October 28th, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Centro De Gracia Church at 1214 Galveston Plainview, TX. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.

Elisa was born in San Pedro, Coahuila, Mexico on October 3, 1939 to Eliseo Mata and Maria de la Luz De la Rosa.

She committed her life to the Lord since she was a child and served him all her life until her last breath.

On 1961, Elisa got married to Gonzalo Medina and together they began their ministry as missionaries, evangelists and pastors of so many churches in several states of Mexico and ending at Templo Maranatha in Plainview, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and beloved husband, and her baby boy.

She is survived by her children, Mario Samuel of Queretaro, Mex., Jose Angel, Abraham, Daniel and Tomas of Plainview, TX. Obet of Florida, Reyna of Lubbock, TX. and Elizabeth of Dallas, Tx. 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Elisa Medina a la edad de 85 años empendió su víaje hacía la vida eterna, el día 24 de Octubre de 2025.

Se llevará a cabo una velación a las 6:00 p.m. el Lunes 27 de Octubre y el Martes 28 de Octubre, en la capilla Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el dia Miércoles 29 de Octubre a las 2:00pm en la Iglesía Centro de Gracia en el 1214 de la calle Galveston de Plainview, Tx. Para de allí salir rumbo al Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery, bajo el cuidado de Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Elisa nació el dia 3 de Octubre de 1939 en la ciudad de San Pedro Coahuíla, México. Hija de Eliseo Mata y Maria de la Luz De la Rosa

Ella entregó su vida al Señor Jesucristo desde su niñez y le sirvió fíelmente hasta su último aliento.

En 1961, Elisa contrajo nupcias con Gonzalo Medina y juntos emprendíeron su vida ministerial como mísioneros, evangelistas y pastores de muchas iglesias en diferentes estados de México, terminando en Templo Maranatha de Plainview, Tx.

Su fallecimiento es precedído por el de sus padres, hermanos, esposo y un pequeño bebé llamado Gonzalo. Le sobreviven sus hijos Mario de Querétaro, México. José Angel, Abraham, Daníel y Tomas de Plainview, Tx., Obet de Florida, Reyna de Lubbock, Tx., y Elizabeth de Dallas, Tx. 17 níetos y 9 bisníetos.
