Emilio Vuittonet, Sr. (Tulia)

Kress, Texas—Emilio Vuittonet, Sr., 84, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 25, 2022, in the St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Kress with Father David Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors chapel in Tulia.

Emilio was born on February 26, 1938, to Alfonso and Luisa Vuittonet in Harlingen, Texas. He was a farmer until he moved to Kress in 1965. He worked as a brick layer for several years until he retired in 2008. He is preceded in death by his wife Hortencia Vuittonet in 1997.

He is survived by his companion: Eva Campos, one daughter: Elida Coronado, seven sons: Armando Vuittonet, Enrique Vuittonet, Sr., Emilio Vuittonet, Jr., Alfredo Vuittonet, Edward Vuittonet, John Vuittonet and Michael Vuittonet, one sister: Connie Ortiz, several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
