Eugene Hernandez, Jr. (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Eugene Hernandez, Jr., 67, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Harold Drake officiating. A burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Eugene was born on April 27, 1956  in Nordheim, Texas to Estella and Eugene Hernandez, Sr. He grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1976. He served in the US Marines. He worked for Larsen Manufacturing and Lee Lewis Overhead Door. He enjoyed doing yard work in his mother’s yard. He is preceded in death by his father: Eugene Hernandez, Sr. 

He is survived by his mother: Estella Hernandez, two sons: Eugene Hernandez, III and Kenneth Hernandez, his siblings: Ciria Resendez, Estela Hernandez, Silvia Tucker, Edelia Aleman, Clara Molina, Lorenzo Hernandez, Elojio Hernandez and Manuel Hernandez, two grandsons: Niko Hernandez and Brayden Hernandez.
