Evelyn Rossi passed away on January 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Tulia, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.
A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Tulia, Texas.
Evelyn Rossi, age 95, was born November 14, 1930, in Nazareth, Tx to Hubert and Josephine Brockman Braddock. She married Henry Rossi on September 7, 1949, and together they built a life centered on love and faith.
Evelyn was the proud mother of nine children, and her greatest joy came from her family. Her home was one of warmth, guidance and unwavering support, where everyone was welcomed and cared for. She instilled strong values of kindness and responsibility for all those she raised and loved.
A lifelong and devoted Catholic, Evelyn lived her faith daily through prayer, service and a steadfast commitment to her Church. She believed in giving to others and was known throughout the community for her generosity and willingness to help anyone in need. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or organized community efforts, she gave freely of her time and talents.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Henry, daughter Libby Howard, son in law Ricky Howard, and grandson Troy Don Howard, two sisters Norma Schacher and Nellie Wilhelm and two brothers are Vernon Braddock and Pat Braddock. She is survived by five daughters - Denice Gerber (Carroll), Roxanne Ledwig (Anthony), Peggy Pohlmeier (Brian), Susan Britten (Clifton), Cathy Smith (Mike) and three sons, Larry (Carissa), Terry Rossi and Steven Rossi M.D., sister Jeanette Schulte, 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren. Her life was a testament to love, faith, and family. Her influence will continue to be felt through her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and a grateful community who will cherish her memory forever.
The Rossi family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and entire staff of Swisher Memorial Hospital for the loving care they extended to mom.
