Fernando Tarango Romero (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Fernando Tarango Romero, 77, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, April 3, 2023.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 5:30 to 7:30 PM in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Fernando was born on June 30, 1945, in Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico to Natividad and Josefina (Tarango) Romero. Fernando was known for his hardworking skills around Swisher County, employed with many businesses around the area such as Soil Menders, Roll-A-Cone, farmers, and ranchers. He enjoyed being outside under his trees and his plants. Fernando was a member of the Buen Pastor Methodist Church and helped plant the trees around the church. He would help anyone who was in need and was a great husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Natividad and Josefina Romero, his son, Fernando Romero and his brother, Mario Romero.

His is survived by his wife, Emma Romero of Tulia; his children, Joe Romero of Tulia, Bernardo Romero and wife Sylvia of Amarillo, Rogelio Romero and wife Ashley of Amarillo and Anna Romero of Tulia; his siblings, Emilia, Natividad, Estela, Lupe and his grandchildren, Jayden Romero, Cordell Rosa, Aibree Rosa, Zaybree Diaz, Emerson Romero, Royce Romero, Easton Romero, Kaitlan Romero, and Jordan Romero.
