Frank John Devin (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas- Frank John Devin, 62, of Tulia went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Russ Panzer officiating and Rev. Sammy Espinoza assisting. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Frank was born on February 7, 1961 in Tulia to Albert and Pat Devin. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1979. After high school he attended South Plains College where he was awarded with a degree in Diesel Mechanics in 1981. Frank moved back to Tulia, TX to continue the legacy of the family farm. Frank enjoyed farming as well as drilling water wells. Frank shared his love of Stock Showing with his three children from his previous marriage. Frank married Lori Avila on May 2006 and welcomed three more beautiful children as his own. On weekends Lori and Frank would go well witching all over the area. He will be remembered by his family and friends as someone they could always depend on. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Devin and his son, John Devin.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Devin of Tulia; his mother, Pat Devin of Tulia; his two sons, James Devin and wife Lindsey of Lubbock and Johnny Padilla and Victoria of Lubbock; four daughters, Crystal Newton and husband Dusty of Van, Tara Devin and Justin Bonham of Kress, Loreen Muniz of Tulia and Sarah Carrales of Borger; his sister and brother- in- law, Janie Notley and husband Tommy of Tulia, his brother, Lannie Devin of Tulia, his grandchildren, Devin and Haisley Newton, Maizie and Delta Devin, Taeler Gibson, Laiken and Tristan Kirby, Zavrian and Kenslee Muniz, Jario Montoya, Lorcan Herrera, and Bailey and Chase Bonham and countless other family and friends.
