Celebrating the life of George Beats, age 84, on Wednesday February 25th at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview. Born and raised in Plainview. Served 10 years in the Navy where he served 3 tours in Vietnam. Attended West Texas State University. Acquired his pilots license and did crop dusting, then became a real-estate agent in Fredericksburg Virginia before moving back to Texas and becoming a care giver in major hospitals in Austin before retiring and moving to Big Spring Texas where he resided at The Texas Veterans Assisted Living where he passed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Art and Billye Beats and is survived by one daughter Sonye Shields, Sister Kay Beats Jackson, Grandchildren Mica Henson, Alex Hill, Colby Hill, and Four great grandchildren.
