Grace Miller (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Grace Madonna Miller, 100, died on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, November 7, 2021, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia with Darren Bryan, Esther Wahlin, and Fe Gatan officiating. Burial will be held in Garden View Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia, Texas and Garden View Funeral Home in Muncie, Indiana. 

Grace was born on August 23, 1921, in Mooreland, Indiana to Earl and Willie Burnett. She married Roy E. Miller on November 23, 1946. They were married 64 years. She was a seamstress in a garment factory making Levis during World War II. Later she worked for a company making kites. She was proficient in all kinds of needlework. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on August 30, 2011, her brother; John Burnett, her sister; Ruth Garrett, her brothers-in-law; Ralph Garrett and Ray Colechia and a daughter-in-law; Kylene Miller. 

Survivors include two sons; Ed Miller and wife Wyla, Ron Miller, five granddaughters: Chana Van Houten and husband Wynn, Jill Klepzig and husband Dale, Kassi Hartman and husband Darren, Shanda Smith, and husband Marcus and Lesha Coker and husband Brad. She is also survived by nine great grandsons: Drake Klepzig, Jace Klepzig, Wyatt Van Houten, Caden Smith, Colby Smith, Creed Smith, Trace Coker, Trevin Coker, and August Hartman; four great granddaughters: Jolie Van Houten, Skye Klepzig, Tay Coker and Brynn Hartman and a sister-in-law, Mary Colechia. 

She spent all her life in Indiana except for the last 9 years when she moved to be closer to her family. Her faith, Family, and Friends were the highest priorities in her life.
