Guy Sam Hunter (Plainview)

Guy Sam Hunter, 70, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February  7, 2023 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Lanny Voss officiating.

Guy was born on April 23, 1952 in Plainview, Texas to Vaughn & Elizabeth Hunter. He graduated from Plainview High School and attended Texas Tech University. He retired from Cargill Meat Solutions. Guy loved to play Black Jack in Las Vegas. He enjoyed playing board games with his granddaughter Khloe and attending the Midland RockHounds baseball games. Guy was a member of the Elks Lodge for over forty years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn & Elizabeth Hunter.

Guy is survived by his daughter, Kodi McCulloch and husband Jason; one brother, Gil Hunter & wife Michelle and three grandchildren, Khloe Hunter McCulloch, Kolten McCulloch and Korbin, McCulloch.

The family suggests memorials to a charity of choice.
