Hector Alonso Sanchez Jr, 28, of Plainview passed away Saturday, February 7th, 2026. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 14th, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park.
A rosary will be recited Friday, February 13th, 2026 from 6:00P.M. - 8:00P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.
Héctor Alonso Sanchez Jr. was born in Lubbock, Texas to parents Rosalba Sáenz and Héctor Alonso Sánchez.
Hector was the beloved husband of Tanya Paola Sanchez and a devoted father figure to Tanya’s two daughters, whom he helped raise from a very young age. A hardworking and generous man, Hector provided for his family with everything he had. He was a man full of dreams and ambitions, known for his warm spirit and easy smile. Hector got along with everyone he met, loved making people laugh, and was always ready with a joke to brighten someone’s day.
He was the proud owner of Hector’s Roofing, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and was always searching for ways to grow his business. He worked alongside friends he considered family, and the laughter and memories they shared will be cherished forever.
As we remember Hector, we celebrate a life filled with love, hard work, and generosity. He shared his light freely with everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Trinidad Sanchez Garcia and Evangelina Guevara de Sanchez; mother, Rosalba Sanchez; wife, Tanya Paola Sanchez Valadez;
He is survived by his father Hector Alonso Sanchez; sister, Rosalba Sanchez; two sisters, Azalea Saenz and Itzel Saenz; one brother Juan Angel Saenz; two daughters Aleah Paola Garza and Abcdeeh Laylah Garza.

Héctor fue el amado esposo de Tanya Paola Sanchez y una figura paterna dedicada para las dos hijas de Tanya, a quienes ayudó a criar desde una edad muy temprana. Hombre trabajador y generoso, Héctor proveyó para su familia con todo lo que tenía. Era un hombre lleno de sueños y ambiciones, conocido por su espíritu cálido y su sonrisa fácil. Héctor se llevaba bien con todos los que conocía, le encantaba hacer reír a la gente y siempre estaba listo con una broma para alegrar el día de alguien.
