Helen Lois Connally (Plainview)

Helen Lois Connaly was born August 15, 1937 in Brown County, TX. to Dorsey and Margie McClanahan. She married Adrian Connally Feb. 11, 1981 in Clovis, New Mexico. Helen was a proud member of the Plainview ISD for 29 years. She retired to focus on spending more time with her family. She was always a dedicated worker who didn't rest long before jumping into another substitute teacher position. She always believed that God rewarded her with a career she truly loved. Helen was very family oriented and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family of Helen Connally would like to thank God for giving us a mother that was always there for us, an encourager and protector, a role model and mother figure for many and the best mom anyone could ever ask for, Helen was an inspiration to anyone who knew her.

Helen is preceded  in death by her husband Adrian Connally, her parents Margie and Dorsey McClanahan, brothers Elmer and Wayne McClanahan and sister Judy Swagerty.

Helen is survived by three daughters, Debbie Stevenson of Ft. Worth, Sharon Hinds and husband Kurt Hinds of Keller, TX. and Sandra Januta of Plainview; one son, Charles Jacobs of Plainview; one sister Laverne Robinson of Midlothian; one brother Albert Roy McClanahan of Bowie; seven grandchildren and eight great grand children.

 

The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Salvation Army in Plainview, Texas.
