Henry R. Pequeno (Plainview)

Henry R. Pequeno, 83, of Plainview Texas, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025. He was born on September 8, 1941, to Enrique C. and Tomasa Rodriguez Pequeno in Thorndale, TX. He married Rosa Ruiz on March 10, 1963 in Slaton, TX. They had one daughter, Diana. Henry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather-by-love, and Popo to many others. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. 

He was a Christian and was a member of First Mexican Baptist Church of Plainview. He held various positions throughout his serving years. He had numerous jobs from farmer to full-service gas station manager, but retired from Producers Grain Elevator, where he worked for about 40 years as a scales man. 

He was preceded in death by his wife and lifelong companion, Rosa. He is survived by his loving daughter, Diana, and her husband Felipe (Phillip); a beloved granddaughter-by-love (Elisa Cardenas); two grandsons-by-love (Aaron and Timothy Rodriguez); two beloved pets (Blue Boy and Peewee); two grand-pets (Sam and Rocco) and numerous cherished family members and friends. 

Henry was a man known for his caring nature, unwavering support, and deep sense of responsibility. A wonderful father and dependable provider, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
