Isaac G. Herrera (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas- Isaac G. Herrera, 73, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A prayer service will held on Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Isaac was born on May 12, 1948 in Post, Texas to Maurlio and Eustacia (Gaitan) Herrera. He graduated from Tulia High School and later married the love of his life Juanita San Miguel on December 22, 1967 in Tulia. Isaac and Juanita started their life together and they had three beautiful children. He loved to travel and play the drums and was also a musician. Isaac was a church goer and Christian who loved hanging out with his church group.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurlio and Eustacia Herrera, his wife, Juanita Herrera, four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his children, Jacqueline Blue and husband James of Amarillo, Sonny Herrera and wife Sofia of Amarillo, Gill Herrera and Amanda Ballin of Amarillo, Adrian Herrera and Rachel Dominguez of Phoenix, AZ, two brothers, Billy Rosas of Amarillo, and Santos Herrera of Lubbock, two sisters, Grace Perez of Post and Ester Quintanilla of Canyon, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
