James E. Bailey (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—James E. Bailey, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Cook-Walden/Capitol Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

James was born on April 14, 1948, in Austin. He grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School. He attended the University of Texas and graduated with a degree in Horticulture. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish and hunt. He was married to Diane Bailey for 41 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents: T.B. and Juanita Bailey.

He is survived by his wife: Margaret Bailey of Tulia, a stepson: Chris Sperry and wife Kym of Tulia, his twin sister: Florie Davis and husband David of Austin and four grandchildren: Beau Sperry and wife Payden of Oklahoma City, Kassidy Camarillo and husband Kalin of Amarillo, Kale Ferguson and wife Amanda of Fort Belvoir in Fairfax, Virginia, and Kahlie Callison and husband Steven of Lubbock and 10 great grandchildren and one one the way.
