Jane Bryant (Plainview)

Jane Bryant, 76, of Plainview passed away on Sunday, June 30th, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Estacado Cemetery in Lubbock County near Lorenzo with David Lockwood officiating. Graveside services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Jane was born on June 20th 1948 to W.O. and Marcia Lockwood from Lorenzo, Texas. She attended Lorenzo high school – NHS, FHA, Choir, and Girl Scouts were some of her most active interests. Jane married her high school sweetheart Bobby Bryant on Feb 2nd, 1968. She graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in home economics and a master’s degree in nutrition. – She was on the dean’s list at Tech four times. Her professional career took her from school teaching to serving as a nutritionist and lactation specialist. Jane and Bob raised 3 children, have 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was known for her many talents and passions, including art, piano, sewing, and quilting. Through her artistic and loving spirit she brought kindness and compassion to everyone in her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jane is survived by her husband; Bobby Bryant, siblings; Robert Lockwood and wife Sharon, David Lockwood and wife Janet, children; Connie Mounsey and husband Rusty, Amy McWhorter and husband Alden, Clay Bryant and wife Christine, grandchildren; Kassandra Hernandez and husband Raul, Steven Hall, Raney Mounsey, Erin Shick, Logan Shick, Connor Bryant, and Sadie Bryant, great-grandchildren; Jayden, Hendrix, Raul III, and Tiffany.
