Jeffry “Jeff” Kiker, 70, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026. A graveside will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.
A visitation will be held at 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 29, 2026 at the funeral home.
Jeff was born on December 10, 1955, in Tulia to James Kiker II and Vonda (Clevenger) Woolsey. A proud graduate of Tulia High School, Jeff found his passion in welding craft he mastered alongside his brother Jan as they ran their own business for many years. His talents later took him across the country, working as a welder for a contractor, where he left a lasting impression through his hard work and commitment.
Beyond his professional life, Jeff was a man who cherished the outdoors. An avid hunter with a special affinity for bow hunting, he found peace and connection in the wilderness. He also loved fishing, a pastime that brought him calm and happiness. Jeff’s curiosity and playful spirit were evident in his enjoyment of flying drones and remote-controlled airplanes, hobbies that delighted him throughout the years. Each season, his vegetable garden blossomed as a testament to his nurturing nature and love for the earth.
Jeff will be remembered not just for his skills and passions, but for the warmth he shared with those around him. His life was a celebration of craftsmanship, nature, and family—a legacy that will gently endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Kiker II and Vonda Woolsey; his brother, Jimmy Kiker.
He is survived by his sister, Vicki Kiker and husband Ken Smart of Canyon; his brother, Jan Kiker and wife Joanna of Henrietta; his sister-in-law, Vicki Lynn Kiker of Odessa and numerous nieces and nephews.
