Jose Francisco Barrios (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Jose Francisco Barrios Gonzalez, 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Jose Francisco was born on June 11, 1954 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Sotero Barrios and Ysidra Gonzalez. He lived and worked in Quitaque and married Norma Barrios on March 21, 1984. In 1999 he came to Tulia to work for Allan Dutton and Berry Dutton in farming. He then decided to move to Tulia with his family. He was always accompanied by his brother Francisco as they both raised cattle together. Jose Francisco was a very hard worker and loved his grandchildren very much and he will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father; Sotero Barrios.

His is survived by his wife Norma Barrios of Tulia, his daughter; Veronica Romero and husband Armando, Jr. of Tulia, his mother; Ysidra Gonzalez of Mexico, his brothers; Francisco Barrios and wife Rita of Tulia and Juan Barrios of Mexico, his sisters; Lorenza Barrios, Margarita Barrios, Camila Barrios, Concepcion Barrios, Tomasa Barrios and Francisca Barrios all of Mexico, four grandchildren; Natalia Romero, Gabriella Romero, Damian Romero, and Elena Romero all of Tulia.
