Jose Castro Perez (Plainview)

Jose Castro Perez 89, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

 A Rosary will be held at 6 P.M. Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the funeral home.

Mr. Perez was born March 19, 1933 in Sonora, Texas to Seferino & Tomasa Perez. He married Consuelo Trevino on February 9, 1953 in Sonora, Texas.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Seferino & Tomasa Perez; two brothers, Norberto Perez and Ricardo Perez; two sisters, Elia Gutierrez and Carmina Trevino and one son-in-law, Mike Salazar.

He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Perez of Plainview; four daughters, Sonia Morales & husband Mike of Spring, Texas, Ida Rascon & husband Daniel, Anna Salazar and Patty Saucedo all of Plainview; two sons, John Perez & wife Gina of Plainview and Mark Perez & wife Silvia of Canyon, Texas; one sister, Anna Robledo of El Dorado, Texas; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
