Josh Dominguez, 29, of Tulia passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2026 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery.
A rosary will be held at 5:30 P.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in the Kornerstone Chapel.
Josh Dominguez was born on July 16, 1996, in Amarillo to Concepcion “Chon” Sr. and Beronica (Aguayo) Dominguez. A proud graduate of Tulia High School’s Class of 2014, Josh carried his small-town roots with a warm and open heart throughout his life.
He worked at the Tulia Allsup’s, where he had the joy of meeting many people and forming lasting connections. For about five years, Josh dedicated himself to the care of cattle at Barlett Feedlot before taking on the important role of night watch at Swisher Feedlot.
Josh was an avid fan of the Broncos, always finding excitement in the game. He cherished moments spent watching his nieces and nephews play their sports at school, proudly supporting them from the sidelines. In his free time, he found delight in playing video games, especially South Park, where he could unwind and enjoy simple pleasures.
Above all, Josh’s heart belonged to his beloved little girl, Kataleya, to whom he was completely devoted. He was truly wrapped around her finger, and their bond was a beautiful testament to his capacity for love and tenderness.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Beronica Dominguez.
He is survived by daughter, Kataleya Dominguez; his father, Concepcion “Chon” Dominguez, Sr.; his brother, Chonito Dominguez, Jr. and wife Vanessa; his best friend, Jessica Hernandez; his nieces and nephews, Destiney, Gabriel, Jedidiah and Noah Dominguez and Zariah Sanchez.
