Juan Manuel Carrillo (Plainview)

Juan Manuel Carrillo, 28 of Plainview passed away on Tues, September 8, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Kornerstone Funeral Home.

Juan was born on November 30, 1997 in Hale Center, TX, to Juan Manuel Carrillo and Monica Gonzales.

At just 28 years old, he left this world far too soon, but he left behind a lifetime of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. He was funny, reliable, and truly the life of the party. A natural comedian, he could make anyone laugh and had a way of bringing joy wherever he went. He loved dancing, singing, joking around, and making sure everyone around him was having a good time. His vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the happiness he shared will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Juan is survived by his son, Julius Skies Carrillo; his mother, Monica Gonzales, Plainview, TX; his father, Juan Manuel Carrillo & Sarai, Roswell, N.M; 5 brothers: Xavier & Cynthia Gonzales, Plainview, Gabriel Sanchez, Plainview, Sebastian Carrillo, Roswell, N.M,.Jose Carrillo, Roswell, N.M., and Emiliano Carrillo; 2 sisters: Cynthia & Joey Cantu, Plainview, and Abigail Salazar, Roswell, N.M.; grandmother, Hope Gonzales; aunt, Maricella Gonzales; and grandfather, Jose Manuel Carrillo Arce.

Juan is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Emilio & Eloise Gonzales; 2 great uncles, Emilio Gonzales Jr., and Armando Gonzales; great aunt, Irene Flores; and Grandmother, Catalina Rodriguez Ramirez.
