Juliet Ann Fernandez, 56, of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026. No services will be held at this time.
Juliet was born on July 28, 1969, in Tulia to Joe Fernandez and Jane Basaldua. She was a proud graduate of Tulia High School and pursued her passion by earning a bachelor's degree in architecture from Texas Tech University.
Juliet's spirit of independence and adventure led her to a unique career driving semi-trucks across the country, where she not only embraced the challenges of long hauls but also proudly owned and operated her own semi-truck as a self-employed professional.
Beyond her work, Juliet was a gifted artist, finding joy in painting and crafts that reflected her creative soul. Above all, she cherished the precious moments spent with her beloved granddaughters, Nora and Iyanna, whose laughter and presence brought immense happiness to her heart. Juliet’s life was a beautiful journey filled with strength, talent, and the warmth of family, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Fernandez; her mother, Jane Basaldua; her brother, Joe Fernandez, Jr.,
She is survived by her son, Janeiro Linscomb and wife Melinda; her sisters, Joann Fernandez and Janet Reyes; two granddaughters, Nora Linscomb and Iyanna Linscomb.
