Justin "J.T" Todd Richardson (Plainview)

Justin “J.T.” Todd Richardson, 36, of Canyon passed away on May 7, 2026.

Justin was born on September 21, 1989 in Pheonix, Arizona. He worked as an auto body technician in Amarillo, Texas. He also attended school to further his career in Auto Body Collision Concepts at Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas. He attended schools in Plainview, Texas where he graduated in 2007. He went on to WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming to study auto mechanics. He returned to Plainview to work to work in the auto mechanic industry. His hobbies were doing what he dearly loved and that was tearing cars and trucks apart and putting them back together. He would give the shirt off his back for anybody. He had a heart for all people no matter what.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Loyce Richardson, maternal grandmother Betty Barr, and cousin Myles Hunter Barr.

He is survived by his partner in life and love of seven years Britney Richardson of their home in Canyon, Texas, step-son Nathan Steen of Canyon, Texas, daughter Britian Richardson of Plainview, Texas, parents Mike and Mona Richardson of Canyon, Texas, sister Ranae Richardson and children Max and Arya of Pueblo, Colorado, grandfather Max Barr of Alamosa, Colorado, Georgia Coleman, Brooks mother of daughter Britain Richardson, and numerous aunts, uncles and good friends who loved and cares for Justin.
