Larry Joe Norris (Plainview)

Larry Joe Norris, 80, of Halfway, Texas, also known as "Pa" to everyone, left this earth to be with our heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Halfway Cemetery with Guy Atkinson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Larry was born July 24, 1942 at home in Grand Saline, Texas to Billy Joe Norris and Juanita May Barker Norris.  He married Peggy Lee Holmes on April 11, 1967 in Casa Grande.  Larry was a lifelong cowboy. His favorites things were horses and his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Lee Norris, his parents, Billy Joe Norris and Juanita May Barker Norris.

He is survived by daughters Becky & David Steffens of Plainview, Lynn & James Williams of Abernathy; Tricia Norris of Plainview; Lisa & Gene Pryor of The Colonies and Tina Norris of Arlington. Grandchildren, Wesley Williams, Alyssa Norris, Kayla Steffens, Sean Steffens, Cameron Pryor, Caressa Jones, Lance Little, Hayden Gonzales, Rylee Gonzales; Great grandson Knox Barr; sisters Pat Pryor of Mesquite, Tx and Kay Harris of Grand Saline, Tx.
