Silverton, Texas—Latresa Minyard, 74, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 2 :00 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2021, in the Silverton Cemetery.

Latresa was born in Tulia on June 8, 1947, to Troy and Grace Cox. She grew up in Silverton and attended Silverton Schools. She married Virgal “Peaches” Minyard on July 8, 1965. She was a housewife.

She is preceded in death by her father; Troy Cox, her mother and stepfather; Grace and Gene Vaughn and her husband; Virgal “Peaches” Minyard.

She is survived by her daughter: Stacy Minyard of Silverton, her son: Kendal Minyard and wife Trish of Spur, her grandsons: Allan Minyard of Spring and Hunter Darnell of San Angelo and special friends: Viola and Johnny Black, Zeola Taylor, Virginia Clardy and Ricky Clardy.
