Leonor "Pinky" Isabel Ellis (Plainview)

Leonor Isabel (pinky) Ellis was born April 22, 1959, to Gilbert Castillo and Isabel Mary Villarreal she passed away on Thursday April 27th , 2023. Rosary services with be held at 6 pm to 8 pm on Sunday April the 30th at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Tx. Family and friends will gather for a meal at noon on May 1st at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Hale Center followed by a celebration of life at 2 pm Monday May 1st
at St. Theresa’s catholic church in Hale Center with Father Angelo officiating arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone funeral directors of Plainview.

She was a four-time cancer survivor, a loving wife and Mother an amazing grandmother and great grandmother, she cherished spending time with her family and going to the casino. Leonor (Pinky) Ellis lived half her life in hale center and the other half in Sherman later returning to Hale Center to care for her mother Isabel.

She was proceeded in death by her father Gilbert Castillo, her sister Martha Castillo, her brother Daniel Castillo, her great granddaughter Jordynn Ellis, and her stepfather Ruben Villarreal.

She is survived by her Husband of 20 Years John Sylve of Plaquemines Parish Louisiana. Her son Juan Perez Jr and wife Amy Perez of Hale Center. Her daughter Michelle and Husband Francisco Barrientos of Pilot Point. Her Grandson Frankie Perez, Her Granddaughter Ashtyn Ellis and husband Adam Ellis. Her grandson Zayne Perez. Her Granddaughter Ariel Lopez and husband Exavion Bowen. Her grandson Carlos Lujan, Granddaughters, Violeta Barrientos and Bella Barrientos, Great grandsons Kaleb Ellis, Kaden Ellis and Zay’Lee Bowen. Her Mother Isabel Villarreal of Hale Center, Her brother Gilbert Castillo and wife Christine of Killeen. Brother Ruben Castillo and wife Diana of Hale Center. Sister Diann Deleon Serrano and husband Armando of Arkansas.
