Manuel F. Solis (Plainview)

Manuel F. Solis, 86 of Lockney passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at St. Alice Catholic Church in Plainview with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Lockney Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Manuel was born on June 17, 1935 to Julio & Eloisa Solis. He married Guadalupe Chavarria in November of 1959. He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Solis; four daughters, Mercedes and husband Carlos Hernandez of Spearman, TX, Alma and husband Ramon Gonzalez of Garland, TX, Elizabeth and husband J. Felix Ceniceros of Buffalo, OK and Tammie Hernandez of Lockney, TX; one son, Manuel Solis, II and wife Emelda Solis-Molinar of Midland, TX; one brother, Jesus Solis; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Grandsons, Mark Solis, Manuel Solis, Bronco Ceniceros, Felix Ceniceros, Jr., Gerardo Hernandez and Uriel Gonzalez.
