Margie Ketchum (Plainview)

Margie Ketchum, 91, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021 in Plainview, Texas. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Hale Center with Rev. Jimmy Cameron officiating. Burial will follow in the Hale Center Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

Margie was born on October 12,1929 in Electra, Texas to Joe Sephus and Vernon Hester (Cruthirds) Ables. She married Don J. Ketchum on July 25, 1948 in Conway, Texas. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church, and volunteered as a pink lady with the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a daughter, Belinda Spencer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Donna Harris and husband Willie of Lubbock, Teri Reeves and husband David of Slaton, Debbie Roberts and husband David of Hale Center; a son-in-law, Jodie Spencer; eight grandchildren, Kevin Spencer, Barrie Spencer, Shanna Weiss and husband Kelly, Justin Spencer, Derek Palmer and wife Carrie, Marci Brosch and husband Steven, Jon David Roberts and wife Jodi, Lindsay Johnson and husband Carson and eleven great grandchildren.
