Marilyn Jean Webb (Plainview)

Marilyn Jean Webb, 71, peacefully passed away into the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Trinity Life Church with Rev. Steve Rogers and Rev. Steve Martinez officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. Marilyn was born on December 9, 1949 in Hot Springs, New Mexico to Walter Lacy & Elaine Viola (Miller) Tandy. She married Lanny J. Webb on July 16, 1988 in Plainview. She worked for Hale County Abstract for 21 years and was a member of Trinity Life Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Zaphryn Green. She is survived by her husband, Lanny J. Webb of Plainview; one daughter, Melissa Jyl Duffy of Lubbock; two sons, Preston Dean Webb of Seiling, OK and Robert Duane Mayhan of Clayton, NM; grandchildren, Colton Smith, Gannon Duffy, Mikayla Webb and Cody Mayhan; one sister Teresa Taylor (Larry), step daughters, Lorrie Anne Burnette and Wistie Delain Ellis both of Plainview; step son, Jesse Wayne Webb of Lubbock and step grandchildren, Chad Johnson, Hagan Johnson, Ky Reagan, Derek Webb, Lauren Dovell, Chance Rollins and Brant Rollins. Marilyn was always known for her kind quiet spirit with love and compassion for others. She was loved by all who knew her as she loved to laugh and she always kept smiling even through sickness and pain. She will be missed so much.
